How Much Fun Can You Have in One Afternoon?
Come and Find Out!In today's landscape of EXPLODING media usage, we want to share how media can be used in exciting ways to create awesome art. At RCTV's SMArtsFest (Saturday Media Arts Festival), taking place on Saturday, February 11 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., we fling open the doors for a hands-on day of creative fun where you combine media, technology and the arts!
For example...
- Play XBox Kinnect Games on the BIG Screen and discover how to create an animated short where you're one of the characters!
- Explore combining PhotoBooth and a Green Screen background to "dance with Michael Jackson," "Talk to Barack Obama," "Sing with Justin Bieber" (or other celebrities) or to simply create a video Valentine's message.
- Discover how facebook is changing the face of communications. We'll have two short info sessions...one for adults, one for youth.
- Catch a demo by Taekwondo Master Duane McKinney and learn his moves as you see it captured live on camera and turned into a television program.
- Get the scoop on how to enhance your home videos from an industry pro.
- Music, refreshments, crafts...and more!
This FREE event is open to everyone, age 2 to 92, so stop on down for a fun-tastic time! RCTV-15 is located at 21 Gorham Street off St. Paul Street in Rochester.
