A special thanks
We want to thank everyone who made the 2010 RCTV-15 Membership Drive a huge success! We had such a great time giving away prizes, screening incredible video and meeting some new friends. Rememember, there is no bad time to donate to RCTV-15 or become a member. Just because the membership drive is over, doesn't mean you can't still GET INVOLVED!
We aired new programming and we invited guests from around the city to come in and share what they're up to and how RCTV-15 contributes to the community.
Check out this list of guests and programs that we offered across these three days. And of course, we always welcome and appreciate your membership and your generous contributions that help underwrite the following and other activities at RCTV-15:
- Access for Rochester residents to air their own non-commercial message or television show
- Free film screenings, open to the public
- Low-cost classes in documentary film making, editing and television production
- Scholarships for City of Rochester youth to take media classes
- RCTV-15's Annual Black Music Month Celebration
- Technology lending library for members and class participants
- Use of a state of the art editing lab for members and class participants
- Access to a full television studio
- Free airing of PSAs for non-profit organizations and not-for-profit educational, health and cultural organizations
RCTV-15 offers people of all ages the opportunity to learn
media literacy and to produce their own television programs
